Enterprise, NV
The unincorporated town of Enterprise, NV, is an affluent section of the Las Vegas Valley, housing a population of well over 100,000 residents throughout 46.5 square miles of land. Enterprise sits directly south of Spring Valley along Interstate 15 and makes up part of Las Vegas Township.
References to the name “Enterprise” date back to 1918 with the establishment of the Enterprise school district. It’s believed the name was chosen at that time simply for its positive sound. Enterprise became an unincorporated town in 1996 as residents hoped to preserve the community’s rural identity. Today, Enterprise is home to the planned communities of Mountain’s Edge and Southern Highlands, as well as the headquarters of Allegiant Air. The oldest surviving structure in the area is a water tower built in 1926.
